NTPC-PMI conducted a programme titled “Training Programme in Power BI” from 26th- 28th February, 2024 at PMI Noida. During the inauguration, Ms Rachana Singh Bhal, CGM (PMI) highlighted the importance of Power BI as it enables top management to take effective decisions by analyzing different scenarios based on the visual dashboards created through Power BI. This is the first in a series of three programmes planned by PMI on Power BI.

This 24-hour training programme included 12 sessions covering various topics such as creating dashboards, impactful visualization, developing data models etc. This programme was attended by 31 participants from NTPC where 28 participants were from various sections from Finance.

As part of hands-on learning at this programme, individual participants were required to develop dashboards and give presentation on a sample project in Power BI.
